Why I Started The Horsfield Group
I’ve always been curious.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed asking questions, learning how things work, and looking for better ways of doing things. Over the years that curiosity led me through retail, hospitality, trades and several different business ventures.
Every business taught me something. But they all taught me one lesson that changed the way I thought about work. No matter what business I was in, success usually depended on one thing…
My time.
The harder I worked, the more I earned. But if I stopped, everything slowed down. Eventually I realised I wasn’t really building freedom — I was simply becoming better at trading my time for money.
That realisation stayed with me. I knew there had to be another way.
That search for a better way never really stopped. It’s what led me to explore new ideas — technology, artificial intelligence, business, health, automation, new ways of thinking. Not because I was chasing the next shiny object, but because I genuinely enjoy learning.
I believe curiosity is one of the most valuable qualities we can have. The moment we stop learning, we stop growing.
Eventually I realised something. The conversations I enjoyed most weren’t about selling. They were about ideas. Sharing experiences. Exploring possibilities. Helping people think differently.
That’s why I created The Horsfield Group.
Not to build another company, but to build a place where curious people could discover ideas, explore opportunities and create better futures together.
One of those opportunities happened to be LifeWave. When I first discovered it, it wasn’t because someone convinced me — it was because my curiosity made me want to understand the technology. The more I learnt, the more I felt it deserved a place within The Horsfield Group.
Not because I believe it’s for everyone. But because I believe it’s something people should have the opportunity to understand and decide for themselves.
If I hope The Horsfield Group leaves any legacy, it isn’t measured by how many businesses are created or how many products are sold. I hope it’s remembered as a place that encouraged people to stay curious. To keep learning. To think independently. And to have the courage to have a go.
Because I genuinely believe the future isn’t something we wait for. It’s something we build.
